A TFTS Production Project: Conspiration
Conspiration is a physical theatre performance in 3 parts: grief and loss, anger and impotence, and finally finding hope in turmoil.
This performance was created by 10 second year drama and theatre students, reflecting on their experiences of reading about world events. Breath and breathing together connect each individual and offer a way to find hope. Conspiration is inspired by philosopher Franco Berardi who states that ‘Singular respiration is concatenated with others’ breathing, and this co-respiration we name “society.”’ (2018, n.p.). The performers work with physical intensity that reveals who they are as a moving collective of individuals.
