William Stone
Hailing from a nondescript northern working-class market town, William's whimsical one-liners won him a spot in the 2018 BBC New Comedy Award final, the Leicester Square New Act of the Year Competition final and the 2Northdown New Act of the year final 2020.
William's writing has been featured on Mock the Week, The News Quiz and Newsjack. You can also spot William in the sketches he has written and starred in for BBC Three Quickies and Next Up's Doorstep Comedy. He's performed live stand-up on BBC Radio 4 and Radio 2. Most recently William was featured as the MC in the hotly anticipated 'fly on the wall' comedy show "Live At The Moth Club" on Dave. He is currently supporting Margus Brigstocke on his 2022/23 UK tour.
