Director: Yujin Lee, South Korea, 2025, 108', Korean with English subtitles

When Seoul’s queer scene turns on her, bar-owner Manok returns to Iban-ri, the hometown that never made space for her. Back in a village still shaped by prejudice (and dominated by her ex-husband, the town chief), Manok does the unthinkable: she runs against him, turning backlash into a bold, chaotic campaign to change the town's future. Funny, fiery and full of heart, this is a crowd-pleasing queer comedy with real bite - led by a brilliantly blunt heroine you can’t help but root for.

The screening is co-hosted with Aberration and will be followed by a Zoom Q&A with he film's director Yujin Lee.

All welcome.
